1.3.1 By using the Services, you consent to the collection, processing, and public display of your username, supported club, points, rankings, badge progress, and achievements on leaderboards, profile pages, winners lists, and promotional materials on our website and official marketing channels.
1.4 Intellectual Property
1.4.1 All trademarks, logos, graphics, designs, text, and materials within the Services are owned or licensed by The Grassroots Initiative Ltd.
1.5 Limitation of Liability
1.5.1 The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
1.5.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any direct or indirect losses arising from use of the Services.
1.6 Governing Law
1.6.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
1.7 Payments
1.7.1 Payments are securely processed through Stripe Payments UK Ltd.
1.7.2 We do not store full payment card information on our systems.
2.0 Footy9 Terms & Conditions
2.0.1 Footy9 is a free-to-play, skill-based football game operated by The Grassroots Initiative Ltd.
2.1 Eligibility
2.1.1 Players must be aged 18 or over and be UK residents.
2.2 Game Rules
2.2.1 Players select nine football teams from eligible fixtures each gameweek.
2.2.2 Only one entry per player per gameweek is permitted.
2.3 Fair Play
2.3.1 Any attempts to manipulate outcomes, exploit bugs, automate entries, or gain unfair advantages may result in account suspension or permanent banning.
2.4 Results & Leaderboards
2.4.1 By participating, you consent to public display of your username, supported club, statistics, and rankings.
2.5 Jackpot & Prizes
2.5.1 Weekly jackpot values may vary depending on subscriptions, sponsorship contributions, and operational considerations.
2.5.2 The Grassroots Initiative Ltd reserves the right to amend prize structures where necessary.
4.0 Subscription Terms & Conditions
4.0.1 Subscription plans are offered by The Grassroots Initiative Ltd.
4.1 Payment & Cancellation
4.1.1 Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
4.1.2 Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4.1.3 You may cancel by emailing support@footy9.com.
5.0 Sponsor Terms & Conditions
5.0.1 Sponsors confirm they own or have permission to use submitted materials.
5.0.2 Sponsorship fees are non-refundable once campaigns begin.
5.0.3 We reserve the right to reject or remove sponsor content at our discretion.
6.0 Nomination Terms & Conditions
6.0.1 Users confirm all nomination information submitted is accurate.
6.0.2 We reserve the right to verify, reject, or remove nominations.
7.0 Privacy Policy

3.1.1 Footy9 Social is strictly intended for football discussion, football banter, football opinions, football memes, supporter interaction, match reactions, and football-related content only.
3.1.2 Content unrelated to football may be removed at our discretion.
3.2 Football Banter & Opinions
3.2.1 Footy9 supports freedom of football opinion. Users may criticise teams, clubs, players, managers, owners, referees, and football decisions.
3.2.2 Football rivalry banter, heated opinions, and reasonable swearing are permitted provided they remain within football culture and do not breach prohibited conduct rules.
3.2.3 By using the platform, users acknowledge they may encounter opinions they disagree with.
3.3 Prohibited Conduct
3.3.1 The following content is strictly prohibited and may result in post removal, suspension, permanent banning, or legal action:
• Racism, racial abuse, or racial slurs.
• Hate speech or discrimination relating to race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
• Threats, harassment, intimidation, or targeted abuse.
• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or excessively graphic content.
• Offensive or unlawful images or videos.
• Terrorism, extremism, or promotion of illegal activity.
• Spam, scams, malicious links, or disruptive behaviour.
3.4 Images, Videos & Memes
3.4.1 Football memes, football reaction content, supporter videos, and humorous football content are permitted.
3.4.2 We reserve the right to remove any content considered excessively offensive, explicit, discriminatory, or damaging to the platform.
3.5 Moderation
3.5.1 The Grassroots Initiative Ltd reserves the absolute right to moderate, restrict, remove, or disable any content or account at its sole discretion.
3.5.2 Attempts to evade moderation action through multiple accounts may result in permanent removal from all Footy9 services.
3.6 User Responsibility
3.6.1 Users remain solely responsible for all content they publish on the platform.
3.6.2 By posting content, you confirm that you own the rights to such content or have permission to share it.
